Stock Horse Gelding
I 1996, I created my first resin edition representing a working type stock horse. That piece, Cruise Controll, went on to become a very popular piece with collectors, with many achieving the highest honors at the biggest shows. 16 years later, I re-worked this popular sculpture into a much more correct, and detailed piece to create FLINT.
Like his predecessor, FLINT is a wonderful performance sculpture and very well-loved by model horse exhibitors who enjoy setting up various events with him.
FLINT is 1/9th scale and is in the same position as the original Cruise Controll, but the similarites end there. He has a brand-new head, ears, mane and tail, shorter back and his entire body and legs have been re-muscled, refined and detailed. He measures approximately 6-3/8 inches at the ear tips, 7-1/4 inches at the highest point of the mane, 6-3/4 inches at the withers and is 13 inches long.
