CERABEL Porceliane
Also marked as "Cerebal Poceliane De Baudeur"

I am looking for information on this set of china. All I have been able to find so far is that the CERABEL PORCELIANE was made in BELGIUM between 1937 and 1957. Evidently this set is extremely RARE - no one I have contacted in the china collectibles business has ever seen this pattern before!

There are two distinct designs in the group that I have. I believe that one was produced at a later date to go with the original (older) pieces. Below, I will list what pieces I have that go with the different designs and marks.

PIECES I HAVE WITH THE BLUE MARK - Porcelaine CERABEL Made in Belgium
12 Dinner Plates, 8 Salad Plates, 11 Soup Bowls (same size as Dinner Plates), 1 large round Serving Platter, gravy boat, 1 large oval Serving Platter, 1 large Serving Bowl with handles, 1 large covered serving bowl (Tureen) with handles. Most of these have the number 1 stamped on the back with a few exceptions. The oval Serving Platter has the number 31 stamped on the back. The Gravy Boat has the number 179 stamped in the back. ALL of them also have a red dot dabbed on the back near the mark.
(Information I have discovered is that the pieces with this back mark were made between 1934 and 1950.)

This is a close-up of the design in the center of the plates and bowls. The white specks that show up are light relecting off of the (slightly raised) design, not chips!

PIECES I HAVE WITH THE BLACK MARK - CERABEL Porceliane De Baudeur
12 saucers, 4 cups, 1 Coffee Server, 1 covered Sugar Bowl. The Sugar Bowl has the number 145 stamped in the back. No numbers on the cups or saucers. I have photos of both sides of the Sugar Bowl to show the design on either side of it.
The flowers seem to match the pieces with the Blue Mark (above). The blue basketweave design panels are only on the pieces I have with the Black Mark.
