Photos of the WINTER STORM January 29, 2010
We got half an inch of ice and about 7 inches of snow in a 24 hour period!

Here are some shots I took while the snow was still flying.

Icicles on the car port.

The geldings were huddled together in their shed.

This is the next morning.    I had parked the truck in the back yard to make sure it could not get damaged in case the big tree fell over next to the car port.

This is the view down our driveway.

The boys don't have to go far for their hay!

The ice on the Crepe Myrtle next to my house.

Here is Pete breaking ice this morning.

I had the truck pointed South so that the snow wouldn't pack into the grill and front of it.    But it got pretty plastered anyway.

This is about 7" of snow on the back porch rail.

Pete using the tractor and box blade to try and clear a path down the driveway.

Snow Ponies.

Dozing "snow ponies", Moose and Little Bit.

The sun came out for about a minute and the sun in the tree tops was gorgeous!
